Eligibility Criteria:

  1. Hold a medical degree in a relevant field.
  2. Applicants enrolled in doctoral degree programs are not eligible.
  3. Enroll in an accredited oncology or hematology fellowship program within the US.
  4. No citizenship requirement.
  5. Non-U.S. citizens must possess a valid visa with sufficient duration for the fellowship.
  6. AACR membership is mandatory.
  7. For non-members, AACR membership application should precede the fellowship application.
  8. Exclusions include employees or subcontractors of a U.S. entity, employees of for-profit private sector entities, and clinical fellows applying from a US government laboratory.
  9. Additional criteria for the Johnson & Johnson grant include underrepresented racial or ethnic backgrounds in health sciences, disabilities or physical impairments, and disadvantaged backgrounds.
